“Kam has been coaching me since the start of 2024 and so far it’s been an awesome journey. From the run analysis, to the bike fit and the day-to-day coaching, Kam’s support and advice is 10/10.

I find Kam not only to be incredibly knowledgeable about all things related to triathlons (training, fuelling, form, injuries etc.) but he’s been invaluable on the psychological side of the sport. Before I met Kam I was struggling to enjoy the sport I dedicated so many hours to. With Kam’s support, in a short time, I am back to loving what I do and competing with a smile on my face. This is what it’s all about at the end of the day!”

“What a find - I cannot recommend Kam highly enough. This was my fist Half Ironman event, having only ever completed a super sprint triathlon.  I was relatively new to owning a road bike and swimming was not a strong point.  From the beginning Kam spent time getting to know me.

Aside from my fitness levels, he sought to understand my motivations and goals, my injuries (recovering with lower back), the way I train and other commitments such as family I would need to work around.  As a novice to such events, which can feel intimidating at times, Kam took so much time to explain the technology platforms we would be using, how to get the best out of my indoor trainer, shared bike blogs… he really ensured I got a strong grounding and sound understanding.

The plan was outlined in training blocks which really helped me focus.  Each session was described in detail and each week on calls we would review the previous week and plan for the next week.  I loved all the tips and cues to look out for - from how I should be feeling, when to power up and when to calm it down.  Kam’s own experience really shines through (he oozes passion for this stuff!!) - in all disciplines he can really help to break down the technique and diagnose blockers/symptoms in a way I could work through.  This really helped with my swimming and biking especially. He was able to highlight courses to ride indoors to mimic the course (a couple of spicy hills) I was due to ride.

The learning curve was steep, utterly fascinating and amazing to experience.  I have learnt so so much from this journey - beyond training itself.  Kam was always available to answer questions, concerns, random thoughts, give reassurance, kit advice, the list goes on.  He’s really personable, calm and patient.  I am also convinced he has a sixth sense to sniff out concerns and anxiety but also knows when to nudge you on or rein you in.

Towards race day, the coaching also brought in all the elements of race day prep such as understanding the rules, kit, preparation and packing, to processing emotions and working on mantras to get you through the tough sections of the race.  Race day was awesome - even the day before Kam was in contact to make sure I and everything with me was good to go.

Having never embarked on having a coach (thinking incorrectly, this was for the elite only) - I would never choose to do an event without one - 100% I would work with Kam.  The extra added value with Kam goes far beyond what I could have achieved with a free online plan.”

“The third coach I’ve had, but the last I’ll ever need!
Working with Kam has been a great experience, that continues to shift my perspectives of what my capabilities are!

This year I’ve not had the hard targets of big events, but still Kam has taken my fitness beyond where it has been in previous years when I have had things in the calendar.

More importantly, he’s been able to keep me motivated and focused without that event schedule on the horizon.

The training is diverse, the sessions are worked around me, my schedule and my energy levels, and we’re always celebrating what’s being achieved, but with an eye on what’s next.

I’ve not had a bad experience with previous coaches, I’ve just not had an experience this consistently good with a previous coach - hence I’m staying put and would highly recommend to anyone (even my wife who’s just done a running clinic with Kam and gone from sceptic to convert in a few short hours!)”

“I can’t speak highly enough of Kam. He helped coach me for Ironman Italy last week and post race I felt I had to add to his stack of excellent reviews….

Honestly, if you want a personal coach who is approachable, friendly, knowledgeable, listens and is very proactive then don’t hesitate - listen to this review.

I met Kam by chance on a training camp in Cesenatico in Italy in May. He seemed like a great guy and I had some excellent rides together (well when he didn’t ride off up the hills too fast!). He was very popular on camp as he was super friendly and helping everyone with their bike issues. He wasn’t working on the camp but just being his normal helpful self! It was after this that I found out he was an IM coach and bike fitter etc. Once home I thought I’d ask if he would help coach me for the last 3 months to IM. Happily he agreed and it’s been excellent. Full plans personalised and tailored for a full month at a time but with access anytime to discuss issues or changes in training plans etc. nothing seemed to be too much trouble even when there had to be multiple changes. There was a lot more though including help with the more technical/equipment side of triathlon/IM and of course help with the bikes. I decided to buy a new TT bike and I think he was almost as excited as I was.  Had a formal bike fit in the shop before delivery but then Kam did another one after by video to get it better….. At the end of it all I did a very satisfying 10:23 time and have added a good friend and coach as well. Cheers Kam! Now let’s go for that ride!”

“After coaching myself through my first triathlon, when I decided to take on Ironman Lanzarote I chose to follow the guidance of a professional - and I am so lucky to have stumbled upon Kam and his coaching practice.

After initially helping me set up my indoor trainer and a bike fit on both of my bikes, which resolved previously painful bike rides from lower back pain, I was interested to hear that Kam provides a very personalised but flexible coaching service to help me achieve my goals.  After outlining my goals with limited availability, Kam was able to produce a very thorough training plan that perfectly struck a balance between challenging but enjoyable. This was evident by the regular testing sessions in which I hit new personal bests and levels of fitness I’ve not been able to before - a real confidence booster.

The other key factor was the regular communication on the Complete Coaching Plan, and check-ins.  This I enjoyed just as much by the way of asking any questions and learning more about fitness and training principles, but also successfully manoeuvring what could have been a race-postponing injury.  I could not recommend enough and looking forward to working with Kam going forwards to help me further achieve my goals.  Thank you for helping me become an Ironman!”

“I have been working with Kam since the beginning of this year and it has been a game-changer for my running journey.

The personalised plans, constant support, and expert insights have not only improved my performance but also my confidence in myself as a runner. After achieving a PB at the Chicago marathon just last week by 8 minutes, I really couldn't ask for a more dedicated and motivating coach and I would highly recommend Kam to take you on that journey!”

“Could not recommend Kam enough if you need a coach for a big event. I have been working with Kam over the past 8 months with one goal in mind, Ironman Wales. A crazy challenge for someone who was almost a complete beginner in triathlons.
Throughout these 8 months, Kam's knowledge, patience and support have pulled me through the finish line and i can now call myself an Ironman!

Week on week, I could feel my fitness grow and Kam was always there for me, answering my questions and providing support and encouragement along the way. You can tell that he really cares about his athletes.

The customisable/fluid training plan tailored around my life and goals and other stepping stone events made it a lot easier to stick to and most importantly avoid injury. The calls also helped me immensely by keeping me accountable on my training plan and when there were adjustments needed, we would change the plan, dial it back or push harder, focusing on areas needing improvement.

I also booked a running analysis session, which really helped me dial in some specific techniques to increase efficiency and avoid injury. Really could tell the difference.
Kam also helped me a lot in choosing a new bike, especially one that would work for my needs, so I new with confidence which type of bike to get and the right size.

Thanks Kam, could not have done this without you!”

“Kam’s experience and knowledge is really excellent which is super reassuring when undertaking such a big challenge. One of his real skills is knowing when to push you and when to rein you in to make sure you’re peaking at exactly the right time.

But above all else, he really cares deeply about your success and is always on hand to support and guide you.

This year I decided to sign up for my first ever 70.3 and Ironman races and decided to take out a coaching programme with Kam. There are so many pitfalls and traps you can fall into and although I’m an experienced athlete the plan has been so important.

I couldn’t recommend Kam highly enough. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with him and he’s been a huge part of my success”

“Couldn’t recommend Kam highly enough. He’s helped me in so many ways over the past 5 months. There’s absolutely no way I would have been able to achieve what I’ve accomplished so far with out him!

I found Kam online when I was looking for a professional bike fit, as I was getting lower back pain and a lot of discomfort on the bike. One of the things that sold it was the fact he’s mobile and was happy to come to me. After carrying out an assessment, Kam made the perfect adjustments to make things comfortable. Two weeks later I cycled from Hertfordshire to Amsterdam absolutely pain free!

On that visit, I told Kam I was training for Staffordshire 70.3 and it was just over a month away. However, I was recovering from a calf muscle injury and things weren’t going to plan. Kam sat down with me and built a condensed programme tailored around my injury to get me in the best shape and as ready as possible. He also gave me a nutrition plan and so much racing advice to get me round my first 70.3 with a smile on my face! Without him this would never have happened - I was nowhere near ready!

Since then I’ve caught the bug and signed up to Weymouth 70.3 in September, and we’re now in the middle of a detailed training plan working towards my goals and targets I’ve set. I also recently purchased a TT bike and Kam came round again to do another bike fit, which included major alterations with the aero bars and we worked on my aero positioning until we were both happy.

Week by week I’m getting fitter and more powerful on the bike and this weekend proved it. I did my first standard distance triathlon, with a time of 2:23, finishing 28th / 215 and believe it or not I was actually 4th coming off the bike. (Not in my age group - overall!) Literally mind blowing! I had never done a triathlon or even properly cycled before I met Kam five months ago. The progress I’ve made from his coaching and bike fits within this short time is astonishing. He’s an absolute genius when it comes to this stuff and  trust me he’s the right guy to talk to. I can’t recommend him enough!”

“I started working with Kam in October 2023 and it has been the best fitness decision I've ever made! Beyond his extensive knowledge of fitness and the disciplines of swimming, cycling and running, Kam believed in me and in my goals which is exactly what you need to keep it going.

We did a bike fitting and a run analysis. In both, Kam patiently measured and adjusted elements until the technique and form were right. I definitely felt a difference afterwards!

In training, Kam was always open to adjustments and highly responsive through WhatsApp and video calls which made me, a very beginner athlete, feel comfortable and supported.

I highly recommend Kam for any athlete but especially for a beginner one. He got me, someone who used to work out 3 times a week, to do a half marathon and a Half Ironman in less than a year and injury free!”

“I've been training with Kam for the last 5 months and he has helped me through multiple events including an ultra marathon and my first Half Ironman.

He has significantly helped me improve my cycling both with his expert guidance on the bike fit, but also with the structured training sessions which has given me much more confidence on the bike.

He also really works the sessions in around my life-style. He gives enough structure so I know which sessions I have to do, but is also flexible which I've found so helpful in developing a routine that is sustainable.

I'm really happy with all the support both the sessions themselves but advice on nutrition and just general belief he had in me to do the events. Can't recommend him enough.”

“Got in touch with Kam in January for a bike fit and then regular coaching. The bike fit was so detailed and technical, it has made a huge difference. He just helped me get through the London Marathon. Without Kam’s expertise I definitely wouldn’t have made it to the start line.

He helped me navigate past a tendon injury a few weeks before the event, with unlimited support. We’re now working towards an Olympic triathlon training schedule. The level of involvement Kam puts into his coaching is incredible. He is a fantastic coach and mentor. Look forward to seeing what I can achieve with Kam’s support.”

“After having a full hip replaced in 2020, I decided to leave marathon running behind and was recommended to try triathlons. Not having any idea where to start I bought a bike a wetsuit and enlisted Kam to help with the rest. I signed up for the Italian Ironman with 8 months prep time (I had some ok base fitness). Kam helped oversee my training plan, fitted me for the bike and help set some clear targets.

Knowing I was carrying a slight disadvantage in the hip replacement he was sure to take this into account in all his advice. I was thoroughly impressed with Kam’s knowledge and personal touch in helping me achieve my goal of becoming an Ironman. His services stretched to helping me push my FTP on the bike down to helping pack my bike when flying to Italy. I highly recommend anyone at whatever level to consider some or all of his services in achieving their triathlon or Ironman goals.”

“I wanted to start cycling and make it a serious hobby. I had no idea where to begin. Kam was recommended to me by a friend. As an advanced level cyclist, triathlete and keen cycling enthusiast, Kam was able to advise me on the type make/models of bicycles I should consider for my age and athletic build. He also advised me on which equipment I should consider for indoor training.

He accompanied me when making my final choice of bike and when the bike was delivered he was able to adjust and fit the bike to my size and seating position. Kam also set and and adjusted my Wahoo turbo trainer/hill simulator and fan which allows me to train indoors. All in all Kam is the ideal person to consult and advise anyone whether you are a total beginner or an intermediate cyclist. I will soon be asking his advice on nutrition/supplements and training programs....I am all set up now...Thanks Kam you are the best!!”

“I had the absolute pleasure and privilege to find Kam when looking to take part in my first ever Triathlon and 70.3 Ironman. From start to finish Kam’s attention to detail and knowledge far exceeded my expectations and if I'm honest they are set very high!

From weekly meetings, detailed training plans and a deep dive into nutrition for training. It was without doubt and full package to know exactly what to do and when. Nothing was too much trouble and hands down fantastic communication.

I feel I achieved the impossible and although, as Kam says, I am the engine, he was an excellent driver who got me through the most challenging times, feedback that was well needed and at times that worked around me and my schedule.

I couldn't have achieved any of it without Kam in my corner. What set Kam apart from other coaches I had spoken to, Kam has been there and done and to a very high level. In addition to this has gone through some super in-depth development to get the full knowledge to know exactly what to change. This really set Kam apart.

If you're looking for a mindful coach that cares and really wants you to achieve, I would have no hesitation in recommending Kam!”

“I worked with Kam for 6 months to train for the Marmotte. Kam listened carefully and tailored a program around my work and personal life to make it achievable.

The check-ins, video calls and adaptations were invaluable. Kam’s deep knowledge but also personable nature is a great combination. He pushed me when I needed it, recognised when I was tired and pulled it back and then pushed again, but always with a smile, encouragement and clear explanation.

I also had a bike fit with Kam as was having some lower back pain, a great experience and solved!!! Thank you Kam! I know I had to execute but without you I wouldn’t have met the goal. What’s next…?!”

“Absolutely 5 Star Rating here. Kam conducted a through bike fit after I had purchased my first road bike for many years. It was spot on and the pain I had been experiencing was relieved. He talked me through every step and never once bombarded me with technical terms without me understanding. His attention to detail is second to none.

He sought to understand my posture off the bike to better fit my needs on the bike. The report was great to have everything captured in one place. After this, there was no question, I wanted to engage with Kam to coach me for my first half-IronMan. He has been absolutely fantastic and I cannot recommend him enough.

Yes I like to keep fit but I had very limited experience in triathlon. Kam worked to understand my motivations, the time available I had to train and how I like to train. He talked me through the tech I needed and every single session was detailed and discussed on a weekly basis. He helped me understand how I should be training and what I should be looking out for. Kam was always available for any questions, concerns, advice, reassurance - he seems to have a sixth sense when to ease off and when to power up, when you're worried or not feeling the groove.

I have learnt so so much on this journey - way beyond just the training itself and way beyond what I thought would be possible in 14 weeks. All down to Kam.
I cannot recommend enough.”

“Kam's service has been amazing over the last few months. From meetings on zoom coaching for Ironman training to a full bike fit. The bike fit was a game changer and well worth the money - I instantly felt much more aggressive, efficient & much more confident.

I was fairly comfortable before but since the fit I've really noticed a difference in power output and less back/neck ache. Anybody who's unsure whether or not it's worth it just go for it - it's so worth it for the amount of time you spend on the saddle!”

“I was experiencing pain in my knee and shoulder in the weeks leading up to my first Ironman 70.3 - to the point I was considering pulling out. Kam’s bike fit and analysis of my riding position sorted out any pain and discomfort I was feeling and he did it all from the comfort of my own home!

Kam also provided me with a detailed nutrition plan and advice for the day which played a huge part in getting me across the line. Kam was hugely knowledgeable, enthusiastic and efficient. I’ll definitely be using his services for future events!”

“I have been running and cycling for several years, but when I decided to try triathlons, I thought that I would benefit from specialist knowledge and support. In my first season, Kam provided this support a lot more, be it discussing the intricacies of week-to-week training load, marrying the 70.3 plan with the shorter distance races in my schedule, providing outdoor ride coaching and bike fitting at my home.

He approached these tasks in a positive, knowledgable and full interactive manner. At all times I felt this was my training and racing, but with all the resources, advice and hands-on help I needed immediately. Kam is clearly passionate about what he does, but the passion doesn't get in the way of objective analysis. I would definitely recommend Kam if you wanted to both achieve your targets and enjoy the process.”
