The FitByKam Coaching & Analysis Studio

The Coaching & Analysis Studio is fully integrated into the process. Here, we work together on those aspects that only direct coaching and adjustments can provide. We’ll connect your fitness with your movement and equipment - analysing and improving the details that influence comfort, efficiency and performance.

As part of the coaching process, we’ll work together in person on any areas needed to achieve your goals, including:

  • Bike fitting

  • Running gait analysis

  • Swim technique review

A human-first approach that supports beginners from the ground up and guides the performance of experienced athletes to the next level.

Each and every one of you is an athlete!  There’s no minimum standard you need to meet. If you’re putting time and energy into your training, you’re an athlete, and we approach the process with that belief, confidence and respect from the outset.

A busy life is no obstacle! We’ll piece the puzzle together while making sure your schedule is structured and sustainable. We regularly zoom out to look at the bigger picture. You’ll understand how your training fits together, how it evolves, and how to navigate the inevitable adjustments that come with work, travel, family and life.

Ongoing Communication & Support

  • Scheduled coaching calls for reflection, decision making and forward planning. Actively supporting and guiding you throughout is a key part of the process. We’ll make sure that time is scheduled for these conversations.

  • Frequent review and feedback, with ongoing coach access on phone, messages and email for advice, guidance and adjustments. You’re not just left to it - communication is central to the process.

Coaching & Analysis Studio.

  • The studio is fully integrated into your coaching as part of the process. Here, we’ll work in person on any areas needed to achieve your goals, including bike fitting, running analysis, swim review, and strength & conditioning.

  • It’s where we connect coaching, movement, technique and equipment together - with a fully equipped private gym also on site.

Nutrition, Strength & Strategy

  • Nutrition and hydration guidance is personalised and woven into the process, so you can practise, refine and build confidence in a sustainable fuelling strategy that supports your training, events and life.

  • Strength & conditioning is planned and integrated. The chassis is as important as the engine!

  • Guidance on kit, gear, preparation, event and race selection, and all the factors beyond your fitness, which are also crucial to your readiness, is an integral part of our discussions along the way.

    The Full Picture - Coaching With In-Person Insight

    Every aspect of your development is considered. Advice and guidance on nutrition, logistics, tech and gear, strength and conditioning and everything else that will build a successful outcome is incorporated into the coaching process, including 1-1 sessions at the studio.

    Collaboration

    It is, and should always be, a guided and collaborative journey where you’re encouraged to have an increasing understanding and ownership of your progress and gain the knowledge of what your training involves and why. It’s about supporting and empowering you to understand the whys and wherefores of your training so you are a confident endurance athlete. The benefit of that process can’t be overstated. The more engaged you are in your training process, the better rounded an athlete you’ll be. A key part of the philosophy is enabling you to make conscious and informed decisions in training, so that you can do this when required in your events.

    Training for progression and events is a constantly evolving mental process, as well as a physical one. No mass-produced, off-the-shelf training plan can account for the unique variations and individuality that we all have as starting points and in the way we react to different forms of training, both physically and mentally. You will have questions, general life will of course disrupt your training routine from time-to-time, the weather will also play its part and so will all the peripheral information and self-questioning that comes with thinking about your training, kit and overall preparation. Working together will provide you with experienced and invaluable support and guidance to keep you on track and confidently moving towards your goals.
